What is the role?
We are seeking an Intermediate engineer to join our On-site Water and Wastewater Team based in our Auckland Office.
The role is for a well-rounded engineer with experience and understanding of NZ’s on-site water and wastewater by-laws, regulations, and planning rules, local government’s way of working, resource management legislation, policy, and practice.

As an intermediate on-site water and wastewater engineer, typically working on several projects at a time, you will experience various work that will further shape your engineering career.
About you
You have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Environmental / Civil engineering and 4+ years of relevant experience.
You have fundamental engineering knowledge through work in Water and Wastewater Engineering, particularly onsite water and wastewater systems without access to reticulated public networks.
You are confident and competent communicator, able to liaise directly with internal team members, clients, and key collaborators to ensure efficient delivery of high-quality outputs.
You are a capable project manager able to work within the constraints of timelines and budgets to ensure client expectations are consistently met.
You are proactive in developing strong industry connections.
You hold strong environmental values and have a passion for sustainability.
You actively engage in a culture of teaching and learning and are willing to continuously develop knowledge of tikanga, diversity, equity and inclusion, sustainable outcomes, and low-carbon initiatives.
You are located in Auckland and thrive in a collaborate culture of our Auckland Office.
