Amanda Ling

Engineer

Amanda Ling completed her Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) and Master of Engineering Studies at The University of Auckland, specialising in Civil Engineering.

She has experience in the regulatory engineering space as a development engineer providing technical input for consent application reviews and quality assurance of stormwater drainage construction. Her work included assessment of stormwater management system designs, stormwater asset management, and checking compliance of land development proposals with the relevant engineering codes of practice, Auckland Unitary Plan rules, and legislation.

Amanda joined the Morphum Environmental Engineering Design team in December 2021. Appreciating the importance of water-sensitive design, Amanda is excited to continuously develop her engineering skills and knowledge toward co-creating a thriving and sustainable ecosystem and providing amenities for communities.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys reading, hiking, BTS music, and coaching cadets as an Assistant Divisional Manager at her local St John Youth Division.
