Lee holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Chemical Engineering with Environmental Engineering from the University of Nottingham. His studies focused on water treatment, process engineering, and design projects.
Lee's previous work experience has given him roles as a contractor, supplier, and manufacturer. His expertise includes waste management, water/wastewater treatment, and air pollution control systems. He has developed a high level of competency in project management and has a proven track record of implementing project scopes within targeted budgets and scheduled times.
Lee started his career in May 2023 at Morphum Environmental, working as a Graduate Engineer in the Small Water Team. Lee's day-to-day responsibilities include handling business as usual tasks to ensure water quality meets Taumata Arowai's standards. He ensures that water intake and wastewater discharge do not exceed approved consent limits.
During his free time, Lee enjoys hiking and exploring nature, away from the city. He volunteers his time with environmental non-profits and actively participates in environmental activism, such as beach/stream clean-ups and guest sharing sessions. He also obtained an Advanced Open Water Scuba diving certification in 2021 from Tioman Island.
