Megan Dunnion

Environmental Scientist

Megan graduated from Massey University with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Policy and a Bachelor of Science in Ecology in 2023. Throughout her studies, she was involved in a variety of projects including a scholarship focusing on lizard diversity, a teaching assistant for an ecology & conservation course, leading insights on sustainability professionals research, and working on the ecology team for O’Mahurangi Penlink motorway extension.

Since completing her studies, Megan has worked for Auckland Council as an Environmental Monitoring Officer where she ensured that projects met the requirements of their resource consents. Megan has joined Morphum Environmental to contribute her terrestrial ecology knowledge and skills to their team and projects. She is passionate about New Zealand’s unique flora and fauna and about supporting responsible interactions with these ecosystems.

In her free time, she can be found spending time with friends and family, paddle boarding, hiking, cooking, and reading.
