Nick completed a Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Civil) from Unitec Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Design (Spatial Design) from Auckland University of Technology. Nicks primary focus has been drafting, over the years he has become quite adept to technical drawings. With experience in subdivision design to structural detailing to 3d modelling. Nick can offer a wide range of skills along with a unique perspective to the design team.
At Morphum, he is challenged to bring forth a less straight-edged approach as typically seen in engineering and one more which imitates the beauty of nature. As his drawings are blueprints for change, Nick is aware of his responsibility to advocate for Te Taiao and ensure Morphum’s best intentions are communicated. He is particularly motivated by adopting on Mātauranga values to strengthen and emphasise our connection with Wai through innovative environmental engineering.
Nick seeks a quiet lifestyle away from the daily grind, he appreciates the outdoors and yearns for adventure. Despite this, his kids keep the volume turned up all throughout the weekend in which case he dons earmuffs and strategically distances himself.
