Peigen has a postgraduate study in geospatial science and holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography and Earth Science from the University of Auckland. Peigen’s broad academic background supports him in performing various environmental and geospatial projects.
Upon completing his geospatial internship at Morphum, Peigen continued his work with the company as an Undergraduate Geospatial Analyst. Before joining Morphum, Peigen had worked as a Geospatial Intern at Environment Canterbury and Refractus, contributing to the geospatial data collection and data management process.
At Morphum, Peigen works with the Geospatial Service Team mainly, supporting the daily performance of the GIS team and wilder organisation. Peigen enjoys making maps for work (or at leisure) as he truly believes a great map is a phenomenal communication tool.
Outside of work, Peigen enjoys jumping in the car and hitting the road for spontaneous adventures from a quick walk around Auckland to multi-day tramping. He is also a die-hard boardgame fan (Current favourite game: Avalon and Wingspan).
