Sara Fahmy

Environmental Scientist

Sara graduated from the University of Auckland in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Earth Science as well as a Master of Environmental Science. Her master’s thesis focused on Longitudinal variation in dissolved organic carbon along Oakley Creak, a major urban stream in Auckland, New Zealand.

She then went on to Auckland Transport and explored her environmental interests in the Environmental and Sustainability teams as well as different interests in urban planning and public transport growth. Following this, she joined Morphum in 2023 to continue her career in the environmental field.

Sara is passionate about the environment, particularly urban aquatic systems and maintaining and improving the health of these ecosystems. She is also passionate about equality and ensuring positive social and cultural outcomes.

Outside of work, Sara enjoys going to the gym, riding her bike and being out in nature. She also enjoys spending time with friends and playing video games at home.
