Engineering Design Team Lead

Theo Dombroski completed his Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) at the University of Canterbury specialising in Structural Engineering, and worked in the consulting industry for five years before deciding to re-specialise into  Environmental Engineering.

This career move better aligned with Theo’s passion for living and working for a sustainable future. He completed his Master of Engineering in Environmental Engineering at the University of Auckland while working part-time at Morphum.

Theo is passionate about the ocean, being a keen surfer and a qualified advanced open water SCUBA diver gives him a great interest in conserving New Zealand’s coastlines and marine ecosystems, and he has a special interest in Coastal Engineer.

Theo’s previous work experience in the consulting industry has given him experience in large-scale projects from preliminary design to completed construction in both commercial and residential sectors. Theo has developed competency in detailed designs, report writing, and liaison with clients, contractors and other professional consultants.
