Thilini is a professional engineer with 6 years’ experience in water engineering sector. She holds a bachelor’s degree in civil & environmental engineering and a postgraduate degree in environmental engineering & management. Her passion for environmental engineering prompted her to pursue a career in water & environmental engineering.
Thilini has experience in a variety of engineering aspects including hydrological analysing in stormwater networks, rainfall-runoff model preparation and direct hands-on studies related to water resources planning. She is also passionate about catchment hydrology, river engineering and GIS based modelling. Prior to joining Morphum, Thilini was an engineer at water resources planning division in one of the major government authorities in Sri Lanka’s irrigation and water sector where all national water resources planning and management work takes place.
Thilini is excited to be working at Morphum which allows her to work in-depth on her passionate areas of interest such as sustainable development and green infrastructure.
Outside of work, Thilini enjoys cooking, reading, hiking, and spending time with friends.
